Posted 11/14/08 I am back from an exhausting week in Las Vegas. This was one of those times when sleep was something that you fit in between meetings. I had the pleasure of spending the week with some of the best entertainers of their kind. These people are the most influential individuals in magic and mindreading today. These are the people that are willing to take the time to be sure that you succeed. I am humbled at the generosity of these folks. As tiring as this experience was, I came back supercharged and excited to put on the best show possible. It is the least I can do to repay the “greats” that I now call friends. Posted 10/17/08 I am excited at the challenges that this time of year presents to a performer of mysteries. This years Halloween show at Hawthorn’s Dining in Oregon, Wisconsin promises to be a truly bizarre event. More information and pictures to follow. Posted 9/25/08 I never cease to be amazed at how something so simple can affect us so profoundly. Tonight I performed for the Big Brother, Big Sister Fundraiser and Dinner at the Overture Center in Madison. Prior to arriving, I had the worst day that I have had in a long time and really had to rise to the occasion to give them the performance that they were expecting. Within the first fifteen minutes, I realized that I was surrounded by people that were truly making a difference in other peoples lives. There was no “fluff” here, only genuine concern for fellow human beings. Needless to say, my worst day turned to one of my best days thanks to the change in perspective that I was allowed to witness. This was real “magic” . In hindsight, this was one of the best days of my life. Posted 8/29/08 You can now follow TK Magic updates on Twitter.com Posted 8/23/08 It is exciting to be posting after so long. The past two months have been an almost surrealistic experience for me. In July, I attended the largest magic convention in the past 37 years. The line up of performers was all top notch. Even better than that was the giants in the business that were gracious enough to share some of the “inside” secrets with me in private. Just when I thought that it couldn’t get any better, in August I was invited to go to Las Vegas and attend a workshop that was more of a “think tank” of all top tiered talent. This was by far the best experience that I have had in magic. Everyone was sworn to secrecy and it allowed a creative freedom that I have never known. I have come back with so many ideas that I still can’t sleep and my head is still spinning. I can’t wait to share my newfound knowledge in the form of new performance pieces with all of you. We are currently in the planning stages for what will prove to be a truly spectacular experience. The need for entertainment for this festive time of year fills up fast so if you are even slightly interested, by all means, inquire now. It is never to early to discuss your needs and how we can satisfy them. Posted 4/1/08 As you know, TK has been involved in several other exciting, new projects. Planning meetings and video shoots demand almost as much time as performing. With that said, we realize that the calendar does not reflect his availability. Because they are still in the developmental stages we cannot announce them just yet so let this paragraph act as a little “teaser” to wet your appetite for things to come. Check back often for more details! Posted 1/7/08 Looking back on 2007 and all that came with it, it’s hard to believe that 2008 will offer more excitement and opportunities—but it will! During ’08’ TK Magic will be performing the on-line demos for Penguin Magic, releasing at least a half a dozen products to the magic community (i.e. books, tricks and DVD’s), working on a full hour cable show and hosting a corporate game show that is heads above the rest. All of this while keeping the usual busy performance schedule. We look forward to the new year and new ways to serve you, our loyal customers and fans.
